Obituary for Dorothy T. Law (Fagan)

Dorothy T. (Fagan) Law, 91, recently of Lowell and a former longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Law, Sr. who passed away in 1982.

She was born in Medford on June 25, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Frank and Hanna (Devine) Fagan.

Dorothy was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1946. She and William were married in Medford in 1950 and later moved to Chelmsford to raise their family. Dorothy worked with her niece Bonnie for 15 years at Stuarts Cleaners in Chelmsford. She was also employed for many years as a Tax Examiner for the IRS in Andover. Dorothy enjoyed bowling at Brunswick Bowling Alley and belonged to a league with her friends. She loved traveling, especially to Europe to visit family in England, and taking cruises to destinations like Alaska. She enjoyed watching her children and later her grandchildren participate in sports while they were growing up. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved being involved in the day to day life of her family.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Robin Lemieux and her husband, Denis of Lowell, Lt. Col. William E. Law, Jr. USAF (Retired) and his wife Michelle of Yorktown, VA, Ricky M. Law and his wife, Denise of Pepperell, and Mark S. Law of Merrimack, NH, eleven grandchildren; Dr. Emily Socha and her husband, William, Rebecca Mayo and her husband, Garrett, Jessica Law, Heidi Giacobbe and her husband, Paul, Jared Lemieux, Jenna Lemieux, Marissa Whalen and her husband, Stephen, Derek Lemieux, William Law, III, Major Adam Law, USMC and his wife Dr. Victoria Law and Eric Law and nine great-grandchildren; Andrew, Evan, Ryan, Hailey, Hannah, Charlotte, Grace, Jameson and Tyler. She is the sister-in-law, Ernest Barrett and his wife, Mildred of Milford, NH and many nieces and nephews. She was


predeceased by her seven siblings; Walter, Francis, Joseph and Arthur Fagan, and Lillian Craig, Rose Moran and Mary Murphy.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., CHELMSFORD. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.
