Obituary for Donald P. Shore
Donald P. Shore, 80, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 13, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Auger) Shore with whom he recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. They married on July 2, 1960 at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford.
Donald was born May 18, 1940 in Arlington, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Zachary A. and Josephine (Clarke) Shore. He attended Chelmsford Schools.
He was foreman of the welding shop at BFI Trash Disposal for 25 years. After retirement he enjoyed traveling in his RV with his wife. Among his many interests, he enjoyed playing the guitar, woodworking, and spending time with friends and family. Donald lived in Florida for 15 years before moving back to Chelmsford.
He is survived by his two daughters; Darlene LeTendre and her husband William D. of North Chelmsford and Debra Walters and her longtime companion Nate Roper of Westford, his three sons; Donald E. Shore and his wife Theresa of Chelmsford, David A.Shore and his wife Michele of Epping, NH and Douglas L. Shore and his wife Crystal of Bow, NH, his twelve grandchildren, his seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his brother-in-law Edgar L.Auger and his wife Diane of Floral City, FL and his sister-in-law Doris Guilmette of Nashua, NH.
Donald was predeceased by his sister, Paulyne (Shore) Avery and brother-in-law John Avery Jr., father-in-law Edgar J. Auger, mother-in-law Grace C. Auger and sister-in-law Gertrude Auger.
Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. The family of Donald P.
