Fortunately, he only had a 15- minute commute to watch John Jr. play baseball. He truly loved long rides, so driving to Florida in winter with the love of his life, Pauline was something he looked forward to every year. Charlie cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his stepchildren, grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; they were the highlight of his life.
