Obituary for Charles W. "Bill" Miller

HAMPSTEAD, NH - Charles W. "Bill" Miller, recently of Hampstead, NH and former longtime resident of Tyngsboro and Chelmsford, MA, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH at the age of 86.

He was born in Somerville on February 26, 1932 and was a son of the late Foster A. and Violet G. (Burnie) Miller.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed for many years as an electrician with Union Local 103 of the IBEW in Boston. Bill enjoyed many years of square dancing and was a longtime member of the Single Squares Square Dance Club of Woburn. For a short time, Bill served as an Auxilliary Police Officer in Chelmsford. He had many, many friends in the Square Dance community in several states.

Bill leaves his beloved companion, Janet Rizzuto, a son, Charles, Jr and his wife Joann and their son, Michael, a daughter Gail and her husband Richard Collupy and their two sons; Matthew and Shaun, a daughter Cheryl Miller and her four children; Jennifer, Lindsey, Curtis and Vanessa and four great-grandchildren; Dwayne, Isaiah, Finnegan and Stella. He also leaves a sister Beverly and her husband Roger Arbo and their two sons; Ronald and James and many other family members and friends in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Visiting hours will be from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Funeral procession from the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home on Monday at 12:30 pm followed by a graveside service at Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, 87 Fletcher Drive, Tyngsboro at 1:30 pm.
