Cecile (Conway) Zaher, passed away on January 9, 2019 with family members by her side.
She was born April 15, 1917 to George and Hermine Pouliot.
In her younger years, she was employed in Lowell at Heinz Electric. Cecile retired from Lowell General Hospital after 24 years and continued to volunteer at Lowell General for many years thereafter.
Cecile loved to travel. She visited many parts of the world; Russia, China, Israel and Greece to name a few. Cecile enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children; Louise Conway of Chelmsford, with whom she resided, (Louise has been her mother's devoted caregiver for many years.) Frank Conway and his wife Charlene (Poitras) Conway of Ashby, Catherine Kope and her best friend, David Paquin of Dracut. Cecile had five grandchildren; David Kope of Concord, NH, Kelley (Kope) Bibeau of Ossipee, NH, Frank Conway of Bedford, NH, Michael Conway of New Jersey, and Jason Conway of Holderness, NH, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are her brothers-in-law; Charlie Zaher of Chelmsford and Mederick Zaher of North Chelmsford, and several nieces and nephews. Cecile was predeceased by her husbands; Frank Conway and Michael Zaher and her sisters; Irene Hadley and Corinne Russel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14th from 9 to 11 am at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11 o'clock.
Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
