Barbara L. (Lindstrom) Morgan, age 94, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Sunny Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chelmsford MA, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was born in Arlington, MA on August 20,1928 and was the daughter of the late Ernest A. Lindstrom and Betty (Carpenter) Porter.
Raised in Lexington, MA, Barbara was active in school drama and music clubs. Upon graduating from Lexington High School, she attended the Katherine Gibbs school in Boston. She worked for many years in office management at Honeywell in Lexington and Minuteman Senior Services in Burlington.
Barbara’s primary role was raising her five children and later in life spoiling her six grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed the company of many friends, attending knitting classes, day trips, and occasional nights at the theatre.
Barbara leaves her children: Pamela Cahill and husband James of Ashland, MA, Mark Bateman of Billerica, MA, Susan Bateman of Greenup, KY, Cindi Limerick and husband Shawn of Chelmsford, MA, and Natalie Brotherston and her husband Rob of Chelmsford, MA.
Barbara was also the adored grandmother to Justin Cahill and husband David Jacobsen of Newark, NJ, Jeremy Cahill and wife Kendra of Hooksett, NH, Jillian Runco and husband Michael of Liberty Hill, TX, Nicole Brotherston of Gorham, NH, Dylan Brotherston of Chelmsford, MA, and Mackenzie Limerick of Chelmsford, MA. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Connor Cahill of Hooksett, NH.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Marilyn Baldarelli of Northborough, MA, a niece, nephews, and their children.
Barbara was a favorite resident of the amazing staff at Sunny Acres and will be lovingly remembered by all for her kind, nurturing, and peaceful spirit.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 6 - 8 pm at Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10 am at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be held privately.
