Obituary for Antonina A. Keenan (Wagner)
Antonina “Anna” (Wagner) Keenan, 99, a resident of Chelmsford since 1949 passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Keenan who died in 1999.
She was born on December 5, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Antoni and Edith (Willson) Wagner.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Keenan was employed at the Veterans Hospital in Bedford. She was a communicant of St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford.
Mrs. Keenan is survived by her niece, Rosemarie Sullivan and her husband Robert “Sully” of Townsend, her great nieces; Janette Sullivan and Lisa Sullivan. Anna had many friends including her dear friends Elsie Woods, Diane Dickerson and family in NH. She was predeceased by one brother Floyd, her three sisters; Jennie, Ethel, and Elizabeth and her nephew Floyd “Andy” Netzer.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday morning at 11am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Masks are kindly required. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anna’s memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
